2,5h drive from Hanoi lies the magnificent Halong Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with more then 2000 limestone islands.
We board the boat and enjoy the lunch and the beautiful view for one hour until we reach a floating village. There we change to the rowing boats and kayaks and explore the surroundings.
Back on board we have a cooking presentation and learn how to make spring rolls in a competition. It’s hilarious. After very delicious dinner we take part in a tea ceremony and dance tango on deck.
The days are packed with so many activities that the time flys. Next day thai chi at 6.15. I skip that. Though have to get up for the Tien Ong cave. To be honest not really spectacular.
Then we have brunch and some time to enjoy the view.
Passing famous fighting or kissing chicken and you have to stretched your mind to see that.
The Ha Long Bay is a most beautiful place I’ve ever seen before. I wouldn’t mind to stay longer there but we have to continue to the airport. A stranda is in.
