After Hue we continue to Danang which is just half an hour away. On the way we stop at another oyster farm. The weather is very misty.
Unfortunatelly beacause of the bad weather we have to skip the Marble Mountains. It is too dengareous to drive up. And there would be no view due to mist.
In Danang we first stop to visit Ba Na Hills before continuing to our hotel. It is an old French station which is situated 1400 m high and is shrouded in clouds. it is redeveloped into something like Theme Park. We reach it by cable car. On the way uphill we can’t see anything because of the mist. This makes me dizzy.
In the afternoon the view gets clearer.
First thing we dance spontaniously in the Napoleon’s ball room. Then free time to explore the surraundings which seem to me a bit ridiculous and strange. Still ful of tourists.
After lunch we go one level down to visit the Golden Bridge that is just opened last year. The Golden Bridge (Cầu Vàng) is a 150-metre-long pedestrian bridge that connect the cable car station with the gardens. Luckely the sun came out so we can enjoy the glory of the gold shining in the sun. We are just above the clouds.
The bridge leads to the flower garden.
